Special Meeting Announcement

NJACJE will hold its April 9, 2010, monthly meeting at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ.

From 10:30 a.m. - noon in Rowan's new Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship building, 107 Gilbreth Parkway, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062, located just off the intersection of Rts 55 and 322 [approximately 1 mile west of the main campus on Rt. 322].

Following a short business agenda, Rowan's chair, Mike Weiss, will discuss Rowan's MA program in CJ. We are excited about the opportunity to have 8/9 of the southern CJ schools represented at this meeting.

As a SPECIAL TREAT, Harry Camisa, Jim Franklin and Teddy Roberts will join us. Harry and Jim co-authored Inside Out based on Harry's 50 years with the NJDOC. Roberts aka "The Bull" served 18 1/2 years at Trenton State for murder. He knocked Ruben "Hurricane" Carter out on the rec yard at TSP. He then worked for NJDOC for 20 years following his release. At 81 and 75, they remain sharp and bring a great deal to the classroom. They are looking forward to meeting you. They spoke at Rowan on 3/24 and are scheduled to speak at Villanova in April.
